Great News! For all the faithful who still stop by this website there is a full rework in progress. This will remain an archive website and dedicated to bringing you Tom Leykis from his creative beginning. I am interested in re-opening the station listing and show archive but I will need a dedicated listener who would be interested in managing them. If you are interested please mail me at webmaster@impressivenet.com. Navigate the site and check out what is fixed. There is a lot of audio previously unavailable that is once again offered. Impressivenet.com is currently in a restructure phase so keep checking back as pieces of this site are corrected and functional.
For those of you unfamiliar with the roots of this website please read the "Unauthorized News" section as an article will be posted soon.
Update: Monday, January 8th 2001.
Updates: The station affiliate listing has been updated and I have also added some possible internet broadcasts for all of you who have been mailing me and asking "where"? No guarantees that the show is available.
Update: Wednesday, August 25th 2000.
News sections have been added and the "Extravaganza" page has been updated to correct the domain access problems. If you have not yet checked out the audio clips on the extravaganza page you are in for a real treat.
Update: Wednesday, August 4th 2000.
The "Station Affiliate" list has been updated. I must thank everyone who has taken the few minutes to fill out the form and let me know if Tom has been added or subracted from their city. The main page has also been updated with current tour information.
Update: Thursday, July 13th 2000.
Changes, Changes, CHANGES! I apologize for the lack of updates but I have been changing a lot of information usually unseen to move the site to another domain. The new main page for this website is at http://www.newedition.net/leykis.html All other link should still direct you but you may want to update your bookmarks for the new address. Cosmetic and layout changes have
occurred. I have decided to resurrect the old open forum again. It has a better layout and is much better for posting your messages. I can also root out all the advertisers attempting to post on it. A new audio clip has also been posted to the audio page as well as links added to Moonweed's Tom Leykis fan photo website. There will be more changes this week including an update to the Station Affiliate Listing. Keep that information coming in people! I may seem to sit on your information for a bit but I do save it and update it when I can. See you Seattle people at the Bite of Seattle!
Update: Thursday, April 29th 2000.
Four new audio clips have been added. Two are on the extravaganza page and two are on the audio clip page. Be sure to check them out. Also, be sure and update your bookmark for this site to the future address... http://www.newedition.net/leykis.html

Latest Leykis news information added and station affiliate list was updated.
Update: Thursday, April 8th 2000.
Portland broadcast photos and special audio page added.
Update: Thursday, February 4th 2000.
Upcoming remote broadcast information was added and the station affiliate listing was updated.
Update: Friday, January 8th 2000.
New video clip of Tom Leykis absolutely roasting his opponent on "Town Meeting". "Radio Station
Affiliate Listing" has also been updated so no need to tell me KST is a piece of shit any longer since I
have removed it from the list. I am missing a few new affiliates as i have been busy lately as you may have noticed by the lack of updates. More new stuff to come.
Update: Tuesday, October 27th 1999.
New video clips have been added to the audio clip page. Thanks to NWSPOCK (BOB, Portland's #1 fan) for the video production of these great additions. Listeners and fans make this site exist. Thanks Bob!
Update: Thursday, August 27th 1999.
Long awaited updates have been done. Tour information has been updated. The station affiliate listing has been revised to show new affiliates and all the pussy stations have been removed like KQSB. Several audio clips have been added and more audio has been added to the "Extravaganza" section. The topic archive will be updated to current within the week.
Update: Flash Friday, July 10th 1999.
The station listing has been updated to current. The topic archive is also back up and running and is current. Latest tour information has also been posted. More Bite of Seattle information and some new audio to come this week. See you at the bite!
Update: Tuesday, June 9th 1999.
Tour information has been updated to reflect some possible upcoming live listener parties and broadcasts. I had to do my own research on the Seattle information but now you have the dates so you can ask for them off in advance. Something BIG is going to go down for the NAB convention. Here is where broadcasters can display their show to radio stations and advertisers and fortunately for Tom this year it is in Seattle where he is sure to have an over the top audience to topple any previous live broadcast that he has done before. Get out there and show your support and maybe others will take notice and he will be able to broaden his broadcast base. I added a new audio clip to answer the most often asked question I get from visitors of this site so check that out. It is an older clip but it still gives some explanation on why Tom does not have a live realaudio feed of his program. I know I have been promising the "Topic Archive's" resurrection and it will happen soon. I would have done it tonight but the updates I did took all my available time. Look for the topic archive to return in the month of June as well as some new feature audio clips. Another video clip from "Town Meeting" from KOMO TV 4 may also be added as well. For those who post messages to Tom on the message board. Please leave your mail address with your messages. Tom usually does not post on message boards of any kind with the exception of the LA Kings newsgroup on occasion, but he may read your message and if it strikes a nerve he may respond personally, but not on the message board.
Update: Wednesday, May 6th 1999.
I'm working on getting the "Topic Archive" section going again. I have all the topics recorded but unfortunately it will be a lot of work to transfer 5 months worth of data to HTML. I will start attempting to maintain daily to keep current. Please excuse any inactive links in that section while I work to update it. I have been informed that "Westwood One" does not endorse or recognize my station affiliate listing so unfortunately it has been removed from the Official website but it will continue to remain here. Thank You SOOOOO much to everyone who has submitted their information to me. Especially those who report an out of date listing. It is you fellow listeners and fans who have made the listing possible. Basic main page update has also been completed and look for some new audio clips and information very soon.
Update: Thursday, April 2nd 1999.
New Audio Clips!!! Three new audio clips have been added to the site. I have started encoding the clips at a 16 kbps rate rather than the older 8 kbps rate so to hear them you will probably need at least a 28.8 modem rate. If you don't have that it's time to get a new modem anyway. I still try to offer the wav. file format for clips that are short enough. The station affiliate listing has also been updated.
Update: Tuesday, March 31st 1999.
The station affiliate listing has been updated with the most current information I have. Thanks to all the people who keep sending me information. With your help maybe we can spread the word to potential listeners. I have also changed the look of the page. The previous colors could make you go blind. I hope the new look is more soothing to the eye. Also worth mention is that The Tom Leykis Show is now the #1 afternoon drive radio program in Seattle of all other programs and formats.
Update: Tuesday, February 16th 1999.
New audio clips have been posted on the audio clip page. All clips on the website including those on the "Extravaganza" page are now streaming so there is no download time. Tour information has also been updated. Special thanks to all the listeners who have taken the time to drop me a note by form mail from the station list page. Your information has contributed greatly to the current listing.
Update: Sunday, January 25th 1999.
The station list is up but is still incomplete. I removed several outdated stations again today thanks to information sent to me by Carl Gorney. Thanks once again Carl. Tour information has been updated to reflect upcoming live broadcasts on location. New menu bar has been added.
Update: Friday, January 2nd 1999.
"Special Information" section has been updated to reflect a listener party in Southern California. This one will take place at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. It will be live from 3-7pm and is brought to you by 97.1 KLSX. Dial 1-800-448-5579 for more information. A new "improved" open forum message board has been added to the website. The new station listing has come along nicely and is almost complete. Look for new audio this weekend on the audio page. I have two new clips to add but since I moved into a new place over the holidays I have gone through about 7 tapes so far searching for the material and have not yet found it. Hopefully I will find and add the new audio this weekend.
Update: Friday, December 19th 1998.
Hello Internet Explorer users! I have fixed the compatibility problem with the MIDI music for internet explorer but you must have 4.0. If you are an Internet
Explorer fan then please download 4.0. 3.0 is not even a compatible browser due to lack of
JavaScript support. 4.0 not only has JavaScript support but has interface tools for multimedia including midi files. I am not and continue not to be a proponent of Internet Explorer as I still see Netscape as the superior browser but the newer version of IE has brought some
relief to programmers. IE users should now have control over midi volume and play from the website. An option Netscape users have had for the last year. IE users will also be able to enjoy my midi changer program that randomly selects a midi file by accessing the local time of your system clock and using a
mathematical equation to select 1 of the 5 Tom Leykis bumper themes that I have selected. Thanks for ditching that loser VB programming and supporting
JavaScript Microsoft. More things to come.
Update: Thursday, December 18th 1998.
Thanks goes to Mike Dooley and his patience with receiving calls at 4:30 am to help with getting streaming audio clips set up on this site
as well as on the Official site. Much appreciated Mike. So there's news, with the exception of a few clips on the "Extravaganza" page(all those clips will be steaming soon as well) the audio clips through Realaudio will now stream which means they will play while they download. Other news is thanks to some informed fans that I met in the Leykis
chat room I have begun to put together a new station affiliate listing. Look for the new page to be added soon with a form on it where you can submit your own affiliate if you listen on a station that is not listed. Thanks to Brian Taylor and Emi of Brie for the impressive information they have sent me. Also, I am moving so please be patient on the updates. More features and information to be added after the new year. probably a face lift will occur as well.
Update: Monday, December 1st 1998.
Problems with the "Open Forum" section. The CGI script was not forwarding the messages correctly to be updated. I sent for a backlog of messages sent to the CGI-bin and they have been added to the Forum. Also, two things to mention to posters of the Open Forum. 1. Do not post your phone number. First of all I can not verify that the phone number you post is actually your own, plus, you really do not want to post your phone number on a website. It's just not a good idea. 2. The bashing messages will not be tolerated. At least find some creative criticism and not the worthless garbage that I have seen so far. If the garbage continues I will exercise my right to remove the messages.
Update: Tuesday, November 25th 1998.
Wow, long time since my last update. The biggest news is the brand new feature to the unauthorized site. We now have Video! You can see Tom Leykis in video on "Town Meeting". This is a local television program that discusses local issues in an open forum on "KOMO TV 4 in Seattle, WA." The video isn't perfect but the download is smaller than most of the audio files. I am perfecting the video compression technique as we speak. Expect better quality video in the future. I have also added new audio clips since the last update posting. The "Show Topic Archive" has been updated as well. I apologize for problems regarding the "Open Forum" area lately. I have had some computer problems. Check out the new features.
Update: Tuesday, November 4th. (Voting Day)
UPDATES! For all the "Open Forum" junkies who are interested in all the messages ever posted to Tom or about the show on the website, I have added the entire history of messages ever posted on the website. The link for the "Open Forum" history is available at the bottom of the current "Open Forum" page. The "Audio Clip of the Week" is no more by
definition... therefore the definition has changed. This is now the "Featured Audio Clip". I have updated "The Featured Audio Clip" and "The Caller Hall of Fame" audio clips. The "Topic Archive" will soon show some progress. Please hold on with me. Look for some new features very soon as well.
Update: Monday, October 27th 1998.
OK, I am about to jump on the "I hate Microsoft bandwagon" Don't get me wrong, Microsoft is a good company. In fact, if they want to buy out Lotus to lessen their competition, let them. The Federal Government DOES NOT need to get involved. But as a HTML programmer, I am happy as PIE to see
Microsoft get slapped with these recent charges, and YES, MICROSOFT is GUILTY AS HELL!!! I write HTML, and am not using Microsoft
FrontPage either, I use Notepad. Microsoft has really pissed me off when it comes to trying to write a page compatible with both browsers. Microsoft had to be the big man and try and push visual basic as the programming language for the web, but JAVA is winning the battle, therefore Netscape is winning the battle. At any rate... This update is to let everyone know that this is my last attempt to make my page compatible for everyone. With all the code variations and me doing all this work for free, It is NOT worth my time. I have updated the page to handle both browsers and
Web TV for the last time this evening. From now on, I will optimize the entire site for viewing under Netscape. Code writers will determine who wins the browser wars and I have made my choice.
Netscape's only downfall had been table display and that problem has been rectified. From now on if you wish to view this site the way it was meant to be viewed, please download the latest version of Netscape. Also, make sure you have activated JAVA. For AOL visitors, I am very sorry. You must DEMAND that AOL provide you with a JAVA capable browser immediately. AOL is WAY behind the times. JAVA is on almost every page on the internet these days and if you are using AOL you aren't seeing the entire site and don't even know it.
Update: Sunday, October 26th 1998.
I have just worked for 4 hours attempting to assimilate what Netscape users see to the Internet Explorer users and
Web TV users. The site should be improved for those viewer types. I have also added a scrolling JAVA viewer for the "Special Information" section. Another new function has been added. An audio file will play when you load the main page. This audio file will change weekly and will provide a short clip of entertainment for those visiting. More small items have been added as well. Next item of business will be updating the "Show Topic Archive". I have all the info for the last two months, look for it to be updated within the next week.
Update: Friday, October 24th 1998.
HELLO PORTLAND!!! Hey, what do you know! The rumor was true. Thanks again to "NWSpock(Bob from PDX)" for all the information you gave me to post for your fellow Portland listeners. Also thanks to all the Portland listeners who acted and made it known in your respective market that Tom Leykis was an "in-demand" commodity. Portland, you are responsible for Tom Leykis' return! Tom can be heard starting on Monday, October 27th, from 3-7 p.m. on KOTK(formerly KWJJ Country - good riddance) 1080 AM. Now Portland, go out there and show the idiots who dropped Tom's show from KNEWS what a mistake they made by making him the #1 afternoon drive time program on the air in Portland again!
Update: Tuesday, October 21st 1998.
Portland faithful. A rumor has been brought to my attention regarding "The Tom Leykis Show" returning to the Portland airwaves! Many thanks to my well attentive Portland informant for the information. This information is still just rumor and nothing yet has been substantiated, but the rumor looks very positive to be the truth. Visit the "Portland Radio Guide" and see for yourself.
Update: Monday, October 6th 1998.
New addition to the "Radio Chaos" section of "The Extravaganza Page" Here is the epitome of radio chaos as Tom Leykis hosts the bong hit championships coast to coast. Also, the "Audio Clip of the Week" has been updated with a very funny clip about being fat from the totally outrageous and out of control live broadcast from the California South Bay. Also, look for the September "Topic Archive" to be uploaded soon.
Update: Thursday, September 25th 1998.
Tom Leykis is the first to announce the name of Marv Albert's accuser. Audio of the event available in the "Radio Chaos" section of the "Extravaganza" The look of the "Extravaganza" page has also been improved slightly. Tom Leykis will appear for a "Los Angeles Welcome" consisting of a live broadcast and an after the show listener party from the south bay area of California on Friday, October 3rd. More information about this event to follow.
Update: Monday, September 22nd 1998.
More new stuff!!! The "Audio Clip of the Week" and "Caller of the Week" audio clips have been updated. I have also added an update "date" field below these two features so regular visitors will be able to recognize when a new clip has been posted. I have also added two other very entertaining clips that are probably from a show about 7 months ago. The site is pretty much updated for now, but will be changed more regularly now.
Update: Sunday, September 21th 1998.
UPDATE! The August archive has been updated. Again, I apologize for the shortage of updates to the website as of late. I have most of my website production materials up and running again with the exception of my graphic editors. Updates will come more regular from now on. Thank you for your patience.
Update: Friday, September 5th 1998.
Radio Chaos!: New addition... Tom Leykis pulls an amazing and unbelievable stunt on the people standing in line awaiting to sign the condolence book at the British consulate in west L.A. Hear it NOW! at the "Extravaganza" page.
Update: Thursday, September 4th 1998.
Due to my recent loss of all my files, some of the selections I planned to release on the "Extravaganza" page will probably not materialize. If I get wild and have a lot of extra time, I might attempt to duplicate my work that I had done on a very special "Unbelievable" audio summary presentation. However, I do have some surprise audio coming soon courtesy of Carl Gorney. I will also soon have some more photos from the Pike Pub listener party in Seattle. Please be patient with me however. I have been spending all my time getting back up and running. Thanks for all your support to this site.
Update: Wednesday, September 3nd 1998.
I have replaced the original MIDI background music version of "Enter Sandman" with one that kicks butt. There are two versions that play at random with a few other bumper background sounds. You will know when you hear the new one, it rocks. I am currently working on the August topic archive and look for it to be uploaded soon. I am soon going to be erasing some of the older messages on the "Open Forum" page, so if you want to read the older messages, please check them now before they are removed.
Update: Sunday, August 24th 1998.
OK, please bear with me on the updates for the next week or so. Due to a corrupt file (he he registry file :-() I was forced to format my hard drive.
No problem right, because I keep everything on "Ditto" tape backup. Well, when restoring my files the piece of shit ditto tape de-spooled on me. So, in essence I have lost
everything. Please excuse any mistakes or errors that you see as well on this page in the near future. I am brushing up on my HTML skills and writing all my website code with
plain old notepad.exe so like I said, please take it easy on me. The first person E-mailing me telling me to update something is going to get their head ripped off, he he. The forum
will be updated daily as usual. Thanks for visiting. Now back to looking for all those CD-Rom's I lost?
Update: Tuesday, August 19th 1998.
The "Caller of the Week" has been updated and a new "Audio Clip of the Week" has been added. The "Topics Archive" section has also been given a fresh new look and July's topics have been uploaded. This site is also celebrating it's one year anniversary! One year of bringing "Tom Leykis Show" information to you over the internet.
Update: Saturday, August 16th 1998.
Sorry I have not updated in so long. I have had a lot of things going on. Look for the new "Audio Clip of the Week", "Caller of the Week" and July's "Topic Archive" to be updated within the next 3 days. until then, check out this feature on talk radio. "Right Wing Wacko's and Convicted Felons".
Update: Wednesday, August 6th 1998.
The same two MIDI background music files were getting a little old. I have added a second version of "Enter Sandman" which is the opening music for the Tom Leykis Show. I have also added two more music bumpers. These are run at random by a mathematical equation program that randomly selects one of the 5 files every time you visit. Of course this option is only available for 800x600 viewers. If you are running at 640x480, I suggest you change your resolution when on the web. ALL sites are designed for 800x600 with 16bit color. This is one of the few sites left that accommodates WEB TV, 640x480 resolution, Inferior Internet Browsers, and the WAV file format. However this site is optimized for either Netscape or Internet Explorer 3.0+, 16 Bit Color, 800x600 resolution, RA 2.0+,
JavaScript, and JAVA enabled. Thanks for visiting, and if you are missing any of the fore-mentioned options, contact your ISP on how to obtain them or if you are on AOL, just leave. America Online isn't an Internet Service Provider, they are a sex chat room provider. Leave them for a company that cares.
Update: Tuesday, August 5th 1998.
The Audio Clip of the Week and the Caller of the Week in the Caller Hall of Fame have both been updated! All new audio clips from this week's program.
Update: Monday, August 4th 1998.
Updates and additions: Ok, here we go. I added another page of photos to the Seattle section. Thanks again to professional photographer Michael Sean Chandler. I have also fixed the code problem with the frames in
Netscape navigator so that the frame borders are no longer visible on the NEW EXTRAVAGANZA PAGE. The color of the menu bar has been changed to match the sites color scheme and I have added a new Java banner at the bottom of the main page. Look for the July Topic Archive to be uploaded soon.
Update: Wednesday, July 30th 1998.
I am away from my own computer setup for a about a week, and although I still have update ability, I am missing a lot of my software, files, and audio, so the updates may be few and far between for about 5 days. Although there is plenty of new material on the page that I have added within the last week to keep you interested. Visit the "Extravaganza" if you haven't already. I will update and upload the July topic archive this week sometime but a couple days of my topic records went through the washing machine, he he, technical difficulties. hopefully Mike Dooley has those missing dates so the month will be complete. Thanks for visiting. Peace.
Update: Tuesday, July 29th 1998.
Today I received mail from a Tom Leykis listener that really made me feel good and I thought I would share it with everyone. I think this is the nicest E-mail about the site I have ever received. You can read it yourself by clicking here. On another note you may have noticed that the advertisements on the page counter are gone! Yay! I always hated having those on here since I don't get paid to post them. The service provided me with detailed information to monitor page access in exchange for posting their advertisements. Anyway, you wont see them on the counter anymore. However you will see a banner on the "Extravaganza" page which is on my Earthlink site. I am experimenting with posting others pages in return for them posting mine on their pages. So far this service has proved to be a terrible marketing idea and will probably be removed soon but I will test it out a while longer.
Update: Sunday, July 27th 1998.
The Tom Leykis EXTRAVAGANZA is now on the internet! This is a page of silly and unique material that I have been working on for about 3-4 weeks now. I think it will be something that Tom Leykis fans will truly enjoy! I also did a revamp of the menu bar for you 800x600 users. It is much more relative and
functional now. Please excuse the green color, it looked good when I was creating the graphic but when I incorporated it into the site I realized that the color wasn't compatible with the basic color scheme. I will probably change it soon. Please feel free to give me feedback on the site. I respond to each and every E-mail I receive.
Update: Saturday, July 26th 1998.
A new photo page has been added. I have decided to run the tour photo pages by geographies. The "Seattle" photo page is the newest addition and will grow when I develop my own film and upscan the images. In the meanwhile, special thanks to professional photographer Michael Sean Chandler who sent me some top notch quality photographs of "Hot Tub" Amy as she received Tom and Stangers autographs. I am also interested if anyone gets any photographs of Tom while he is on tour, please upscan them and send them to me. I will give you full credit and will greatly appreciate them as I am unable to travel and get the photos myself.
Update: Tuesday, July 22nd 1998.
The "Caller of the Week" and "Audio Clip of the Week" have been updated. I have also added a lost audio clip from the old site about Magic Johnson from last years bite of Seattle that is one of my personal favorites. The Tom Leykis Show "Tour of America" information has also been updated. It remains vague at this point but will be updated as more information becomes available.
Update: Monday, July 21st 1998.
One Hell of a Tom Leykis Weekend in Seattle. I was able to meet with Tom Leykis, Mike Dooley, and a Very Cool Gary (Zybranski)(Interim Producer)[Sorry about the spelling Gary] Again this crew (dubbed MIB - Men in Black) were a true class act.
Update: Friday, July 11th 1998.
*Tom Leykis Tour of America Information*
Thank you to Mike Dooley for this information. GET READY SEATTLE! This IS TOM LEYKIS week!
Tom will broadcast the entire week from the studio's of the "Buzz" KIRO 100.7 FM.
On Thursday Tom will be the main guest on KOMO TV 4's "Town Meeting" television program.
Friday, wow friday... Tom will first make an appearance with Lisa Foster (One of the few good looking women in radio) at the Blue Star Cafe in Wallingford (wherever the hell that is)(please excuse my annotations). from 10 am to 1 pm.
Then of course the live open telephones broadcast from "The Bite of Seattle" at Seattle Center from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Then make your way to the beautiful location of Pike Pub and Brewery which is located about a block south of 1st. and Pike for the post show listener party.
By the way... Both Eric Stanger and Mike Dooley will be in attendance for this party!!!
Tom will appear for an encore performance Saturday for an exclusive "Seattle Only" broadcast on the "BUZZ" from 4-7pm.
I will be there Friday and hopefully Saturday. I hope to see you website visitors there. For those in other parts of the country, if your big Tom Leykis fans, make the trip. This is going to be one big Leykis town for a week and this will be one BIG Tom Leykis weekend party with the crew all here. Minus Mike Kelly :-( . If you can, cancel all plans and make it out!!! Peace.
Update: Friday, July 11th 1998.
As I attempt to move away from the terrible service of America Online I deferred all forum postings to a new mailbox that is still inactive. If you posted to the forum and don't see your message posted, please forgive me. The "Open Forum" was down for several hours due to my mistake. Look for some exclusive new features within the next two weeks. A new section entitled "The Extravaganza" will be introduced and will feature some items that are sure to be favorites of the visitors. I also have photo's from the last listener party at the Pike Pub which are soon to be scanned and uploaded to an expanded photo section. New features will be appearing soon within the next few weeks so check back regularly.
Update: Thursday, July 10th 1998.
The Forum Page was getting too long and was causing a longer loading process so the older postings were removed. I have saved the postings though and may re-post them on another page later in time for those interested.
Update: Thursday, July 3rd 1998.
Two more selections have been added to the "Audio Clip Collection" Sorry, but due to the length of them they are not available through WAV. file format. A new "Audio Clip of the Week" has also been added.
* New Feature * - The "Caller Hall of Fame" has been added as a new feature to the audio clip collection section. This will feature some of the most interesting, humorous, and riveting conversation from those who are already the best of the best and are able to make it past the services of Mike Dooley. I am on vacation starting today so I'm not sure if I will spend any time this weekend adding any more features. There is much more to come though. Please check back soon. Peace, and have a safe Independence Day.
Update: Wednesday, July 2nd 1998.
Well, after being "unofficially" asked to do the "official" website I have created a collection of graphics and new material. Recently I have found that the Tom Leykis Show's staff has chosen to go with some more "professional" people than myself. What this means is good for the Tom Leykis Show listeners. I will continue to produce my unauthorized website and I will add all the work I have created in false anticipation of doing the official website on my site. You will also have the option of even more material and obviously some inside information I am not privy to through the new official website which I will forever offer a link to. Look for the new "Official" Tom Leykis Show Website soon! Also look for a whole new look and some features that will blow you away on this Unauthorized Website. I have added a new title logo to give you a short sample of some of the cosmetic enhancements in store for this site. Look for all the new features here very soon.
Update: Tuesday, July 1st 1998.
The June "Topics Archive" section has been updated and uploaded.
Update: Tuesday, June 17th 1998.
More classic Tom Leykis added to the Real Audio area. Tom hasn't changed the way he does his show. I love it. For exclusive WRKO audio from Christopher Ryan, visit his audio page at http://www.netwiz.net/~cryan/
Update: Monday, June 16th 1998.
Audio of a call from a Timothy McVeigh sympathizer has been added as the new "Audio Clip of the Week". Information about Tom's appearance at the "Bite of Seattle" has also been added. More details to come.
Update: Tuesday, June 10th 1998.
A new "Audio Clip of the Week" has been uploaded for your listening pleasure. Also for "RealAudio" users only, you can hear the Globe's report on the happenings in the Frank Gifford affair as reenacted by the Tom Leykis Show drama majors.
Update: Friday, June 6th 1998.
I have added two very rare audio clips to the collection from before Tom went into syndication. Thanks to Christopher Ryan for recording these. I have also finished a working audio collection page with the all new "REAL AUDIO" format. I pushed to get it complete for the Friday program when traffic to this site is the greatest. I hope those who have kept away from downloading the audio clips because they were in WAV format will take a listen now that they are offered in RA format. I apologize for any links that may not work. I worked for many long hours to get the page up and haven't had a chance to field test all of the links as I usually do before I post a new or revised page. I would also like to wish a happy birthday to my younger brother Adam Stroh who is having his 23rd birthday today. I hope everyone enjoys the improvements and thanks for visiting.

Good News! This site now incorporates Real Audio! Instead of a 4 minute download time for a 1 minute audio clip it takes only 20 seconds. If you do not already have the Real Audio Player please download it. I am keeping the WAV files up for now but am debating if I should do away with them or not. I have two questions and your E-mails to me will decide my action. 1. Does anyone want me to keep the WAV files? 2. I decided against listing the file sizes but if people would like that information I will accommodate the request. Please E-mail me at DaveStroh@aol.com if you have an opinion on any of these matters.
Update: Wednesday, June 4th 1998.
Welcome to The Tom Leykis Show's newest affiliate WNPV AM 1440 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Update: Tuesday, June 3rd 1998.
First off... Eric Stanger, the producer of "The Tom Leykis Show" will be leaving his position on the program for another position. We will miss Eric Stanger and his debates with Tom. Eric, come back and do a guest show with Tom some time after you become a big star. Now to the page... I have updated the May "Topic Archive" to become current. By the way Tom, I can fix your CD-ROM for you, he he.
Update: Saturday, May 31st 1998.
OK, you people were asking for it and now it is available. I apologize that the only ability I have to post audio is through "WAV" files, but I do this site for fun and for love of "The Tom Leykis Show" therefore I don't have the means of equipping this site with Real Audio. Anyway, depending on how tired I am or become, an audio clip collection will be available for your download use. Many people have E-mailed me and requested that they be able to reference past audio clip's that I have posted. Remember that the clips are in WAV file format which makes them compatible with most browsers but a 1 minute audio clip usually takes 4 minutes to download. Hope this new addition is something that fans are looking for.

The buzz on the KST Hot-talk 650 in Sacramento is that Tom's live time slot has been filled with a local talk radio program. Tom's show is now heard from 7-11 p.m. on KSTE. Thanks to Jim Young and Ryan Higgs for their information to me on the Sacramento situation. Ryan Higgs was also the first visitor to the new "Unauthorized Website". More bad news in Northern California as we said good-bye to one of the best Tom Leykis Show affiliates. KPIX in San Francisco were recently purchased by a Mormon organization and are undergoing a format change. The words "Penis" and "Nipple" were pronounced for the last time today on KPIX before the station changed format.
Update: Tuesday, May 27th 1998.
The "Topics Archive" section has been updated. May is current and I hope to update it daily. March has also been completed. My April records however are incomplete. I am missing several dates on my log listing. I hope to sort out April's records and complete that page as well.
Update: Friday, May 23rd 1998.

The "Audio Clip of the Week" has been updated. Dr. Laura listeners are guaranteed to enjoy this clip. Also, people... please be patient. I am updating the "Topics Archive" section as I have free time. I'm 2 months behind, and there's a lot of text that I have to transfer from records that are in no order what-so-ever. Please hold on. I'm working on it! :-).

Update: Saturday, May 17th 1998.
When I added the "subject" entry to the CGI mailform for the "Open Forum" I forgot to update the reference test file for the form's script. In other words, the Subject field wasn't working yesterday. The file has been updated now and the form is fully operational. For those who posted messages in the forum yesterday, please forgive that the "Subject" heading of your post may not be what you originally typed in that field. I have no way of recovering that information. From now on however, the subject field will reflect exactly what you entered. Thanks, and forgive my mistake.
Update: Friday, May 16th 1998.
A subject entry was added to the form for the "Open Forum" area. Silly me, I didn't even notice that I had left it out. Please for people posting messages on the posting board. I will not let the open forum turn into a Newsgroup. Hate messages without any constructive criticism will not be tolerated or posted. You don't have to agree with or even like Tom, but when the messages turn to garbage, I will exercise my right to remove them.
Update: Thursday, May 15th 1998.
The "Open Forum" section is now open. Please use it to post opinions, questions, arguments, responses, or anything you like. Talk about the weather if you want! Just enter your information into the form provided and submit. Messages will not be censored or tampered with and posting will be done fairly, after all it is an "OPEN" forum. You are not required to give your E-mail address or your real name if you don't wish to. Lets get some messages added to the board. Hope you enjoy the new feature!
Update: Monday, May 12th 1998.
I have found through some very simple searching the domain for the new "Tom Leykis Show Official Website" I have added a link to the site, although there is nothing there yet. I have also changed the menu bar for 800x600 viewers and have changed the opening Java banners to reflect the new and improved unofficial website. I am away from my own computer for a few days, but the next priority will be completion of the "Public Forum" which will sport an all new CGI script so you can post your messages using a form and the messages will then be posted twice per day at regular intervals. Second priority is updating the "Show Topics Archive". I hope visitors to the old page appreciate the new setup for the Archive section. This way the page doesn't take as much time to load and information can be found easier. Third priority will be getting in touch with Carl Gorney and Bob Beatie to see if we can get the "Stations Affiliate Listing" to be more current and accurate. Thanks for your patience and visiting my site. I do this site for you visitors and fans of the first person on the radio to tell it like it is and use some reasoning and facts to support his opinions. I'm always open to your suggestions and comments. Don't hesitate to mail me. Also, thanks to those that have mailed me in the past. All your input has been greatly appreciated. Also... special thanks to the person that uses
Web TV to visit my site on an almost regular basis. This is one of the few sites that incorporates and is optimized for "Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and
Web TV browser.
Update: Sunday, May 11th 1998.
CGI script for the forum is now operational after quite a bit of work. Now I need to merge it into a visually appealing "Forum Page" Hold on, the new forum is coming soon!
Update: Friday, May 9th 1998.
The Photograph's Section from Tom's ongoing tour of America has been uploaded and is now available for viewing. I am still working of the CGI scripts for the new better than ever "Public Forum" area. If you are interested in posting an opinion, question, or anything else, E-mail it to me (webmaster) and it will be posted on the forum posting board as soon as the code has been completed. Also, the "Show Topics Archive section will be updated to be current within the week.
