12/04/96 Wednesday

Hours 1 and 2 - A gay and lesbian couple join together to produce a child through artificial insemenation and plan to raise the child together.
Hour 3 - Discussion on big business playing guilt trips upon their customers when they try to change their service.
Hour 4 - A psychic who moves to a new area is threatened by a local church for running her business in the neighborhood even though she has a state permit. Tom asks, "Shouldn't the psychic have foreseen this type of thing in her future?"

Hours 1 and 2 - Larry King stated live on his show that the man who pre-meditated the murder of a gay man who had a crush on him and expressed it on the Jenny Jones Show doesn't deserve a lifetime jail sentance.
Hour 3 - Everything is going retro! Cigars, Men and Womens attitudes, Drinking Martini's. What is going on here?
Hour 4 - How can you tell if a man is WHIPPED???

Hour 1 -
Hour 2 - "Star Trek First Contact" - Tom went to see it and doesn't understand the appeal to the Star Trek series. Do poeple who are deeply interested in science fiction have a problem dealing with reality? Don't science fiction fans believe that they are more more intelegent than most and are hoping that they can find life in outer space that can equal themselves?
Hour 3 - Dateline: Providence, RI. - City council members have volunteered and used city equipment to plow church parking lots. the civil liberties union has stepped in and said that churches are private institutions and public funds, time, and equipment should not be used in this manner.
Hour 4 - REPLAY - Best Selling Book... "The Rules". This book instructs women to follow certain guidelines including lying to men, never paying on a date, and training men in order to find their perfect mate. Does game playing work?

Hour 1 - Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Boo Hoo Hoo, Tommy is in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and Pamela has moved out to protect their child. How come she didn't think about the child earlier?
Hour 2 and 3 - A new study indicates that there is currently more sexual content on television during the prime time first hour which is supposed to be designated for child oriented programming.
Hour 4 - Drinking and Driving after the company Christmas party. You do it and you know it. Tell Tom about it.

Hour 1 - Tickle Me Elmo - this doll is going for $1500 just because you can't get it anywhere. What drives people to want something just because they can't have it.
Hour 2 - Tom's Guest - Paula Hershey, author of "Things on the Net Newt doesnt want you to see" discusses with Tom some of the most interesting and disgusting sites on the internet.
Hour 3 - Do women put a special significance on spending the holidays together?
Hour 4 - Jessica Dubra, the daughter of Lisa Hathoway and Lloyd Dubra who died with her father in the plane accident. Now the woman who was married to Lloyd at the time want's half of the insurance money and has taken the case to court.

Hour 1 - The federal government is attempting to void proposition #215 in California even though the voters already decided on it.
Hour 2 and 3 - Inter-Racial dating and marriages. Listener writes that he has no problem with blacks but has reservations about his daughter dating a black man. Your reactions and input.
Hour 4 - Punting on christmas gifts. Have you been unable to find a gift and just gone out and bought the first thing you saw?

Hours 1 and 2 - A transexual who is currently married plans to undergo a complete sex change which would technically create a same sex marriage that is recognized by state and federal governments.
Hour 3 - A school changes their mascot and school team name of 50 years from "The Midgets" in order to be politically correct. Was this really necessary?
Hour 4 - "Listener's E-mail to Tom" - He claims he knows more about your wife or girlfriend than you do by chatting with them over the internet and even meeting some of them.

Hours 1 and 2 - A school decides that students that become pregnant of married will not be allowed to participate in any extra cirricular activities, sports excluded.
Hour 3 - Christmas Newsletters, Cutsy Christmas Cards, Internet Christmas E-mails. Don't you just hate this crap?
Hour 4 - A man cheated on his wife with a co-worker and a prostitute. Females beleive that cheating with a co-worker is worse. Men seem to think that cheating with a prostitute is worse. What do you think?

12/19/96 Thursday

Hours 1 and 2 - The Oakland School Board has requested funding for courses in the education of "ebonics" (black english). Is Ebonics a bonafide language? If not, then public funding should not be going to the education of it in public schools.
Hour 3 - PATCHUP - Tom's guest is from the "Parents Alliance to Challenge Harrassment of Unwarrented Petitions is defending the rights of a family where the mother was cited several times for not buckling up her children and had her license revoked decided to drive her children to daycare anyway and was involved in a traffic accident that killed one child and crippled another. She had her children removed and says that it is unfair and unwarrented.
Hour 4 - Dave Thomas, founder and spokesperson for Wendy's is now having heart problems probably due to too many bacon double cheese burgers.

12/23/96 Monday

Hours 1 and 2 - A Christmes Tree, An Athyist Banner, a Cristian Banner and a Jewish Symbol all on display in a government building in Madison Wisconsin has stirred up some debate. Do these religious opinions belong on display in a state building?
Hour 3 - Youngtown Arizona is an established retirement community where no one under the age of 18 is allowed to live. A 16 year old boy who was abused by his step dad has no other alternative than to stay with his grandparents in this community. The Town Council has ordered him to leave. Isn't this age disrimination. How come the elderly are given special consideration?
Hour 4 - What color is Santa? Should there be race appropriate Santas? Does it matter?

Hour 4 - REPLAY - People that apply for credit under a relatives name and then refuse to pay the bill.

Hour 2 and 3 - REPLAY - Job Security, moving around due to your career and how it affects your life.
Hour 4 - REPLAY - A man who lost a custody battle to a drug addicted mother is now being sued for back child support during the time after the children were taken from the mother and held by child protective services. He was never contacted.
